For 2023 the West Salem Lacrosse Club have both a Varsity program and a Junior Varsity program. The Varsity program is focused on competitive play for skilled and senior players, and the JV program is focused on bringing up the next generation of varsity players with a focus on player development. Players will be assigned to teams based on performance.
Registration for the 2023 season is open until beginning of March 2023. Because the Salem-Keizer School District pays for none of the costs for lacrosse, we are registered as a club with the high school and must pay 100% of all operational costs each year.
The cost for the 2023 season will be $400, including an annual membership with US Lacrosse. We offer a payment plan to spread registration costs out over several months (November through February). Complete payment of season dues must be received in full prior to the first practice. Refunds are available until the first game. To reduce the cost to play, Titans Lacrosse organizes numerous player fundraising opportunities to reduce the cost to play. Many players raise enough money through fundraising to defray all registration costs.
The club will provide team uniforms to each player. A refundable uniform deposit of $200 will be collected in the form of a check, which will be destroyed upon receipt of club equipment at the end of the season.
Players will be required to provide a helmet, shoulder pads (with shoulder cups), arm guards, gloves, athletic cup, mouth guard, molded cleats (no metal spikes), and a lacrosse stick.
Details are included in our club handbook. If you have any questions email the club at [email protected].
